Payment is full or
a deposit will reserve your space.  
Fees cannot be transferred
to another class
and refunds/credits will be issued
only if a class is canceled
by the Quilt Rack.

This very striking optical illusion quilt is reminiscent of a stained glass
window.  Paper pieced blocks will be completed each month starting
with the easier block and working towards the more complex.  This quilt
is sure to draw rave reviews when completed.

Embroidery by Machine - Heather
Do you have a machine with an embroidery feature but were afraid to
use it??   Put that fear aside and let Heather start you on a new journey
with some very easy projects.  We will also be offering an embroidery
block of the month starting January.

Simple Whatnots Continues - Lucy

Kim Diehl has created the Simple Whatnots Club projects to provide a
collection of simply sewn quilts that can be made by quiltmakers of all
skill levels.  Edyta Sitar has published a book with charming little quilts
stitched from a variety of traditional blocks.  These mini's focus on basic
patchwork and are quick and fun to make.  Each month you will receive
a kit for a new "do-able" little quilt.  They really are "do-able" as none of
the quilts are larger than 33" square.

Monday Night Sampler  - Lucy

A great project for the beginner quilter.  Instruction will be given in all the
basics of quilt making, from use of a rotary cutter to block piecing and
assembly.  At the end of 8 classes you will have an assembled quilt top
ready for hand or machine quilting.

Victorian Table Runner - Margaret

A fun and easy to piece table runner with a Victorian flair.  The
runner has inter-connected stars and a sculpted binding.  An
elegant addition to your table and a great technique for curves.

This very easy stained glass appliqué wall quilt is a great reflection of
life at the cottage.   A great way to use some of your stash and have
this lovely wall quilt ready for next years cottage season.  We will
construct this quilt as a block of the month program.  Start in September
and you can have it ready to hang at the cottage next summer.

Winter in Muskoka

Muskoka is a beautiful place summer or winter.  This new block of the
month pattern by Fourth & Sixth Designs called "Solstice" creates a wall
quilt showing the tranquil beauty of Muskoka in the winter.  
Start date is anticipated for April or May but is dependent upon the date
of completion of Postcards from Muskoka.

Conestoga Crossing - Lucy  New block of the Month

$30.00 registration fee
An exclusive Block of the Month designed by Pam Buda.  The start date
should be at the end of January 2017 depending on the availability of the
fabrics.  The quilt is stunning with blocks surrounding the large red star
quilt centre and then surrounded by basket blocks.  The colours are rich
deep reds, greens, dusty golds and black and a few blues.
Register early as space is limited.

Underground Railroad - Lucy

$30.00 registration fee
All of these blocks tell a story.  A story of escape from slavery and
the messages contained in the quilt blocks. We will be making a
quilt as well as learning history of the era in the U.S. and Canada
(and there is lots of it).  We will use fabrics that have been dated in
the Civil War era and using the "Underground Railroad" book by
Eleanor Burns.  We did this series in 2006 and felt that this is the
appropriate time to run this quilt again.

All of our Block of the Month programs require a commitment from you for the length of the
program.  We have purchased all of the fabrics for the program in order not to make
substitutions.  If you find that you are unable to attend a class we will try to accommodate
your availability for one of the other classes in the series.
